Residences
2nd April 1911 Census
- Francis Seago, a 4 year old born in Great Yarmouth was living at 2 Glebe Terrace, Fishtoft Road, Skirbeck, Boston district, Lincolnshire, England, in the household of fisherman William Reeve. Francis is described as a son, but it is fairly clear that he is the son of the head's daughter and son-in-law, rather than of the head himself. Francis is living with William Reeve and his wife Eleanor Reeve, their children Edith L Reeve, Willliam F J Reeve and Ellen Seago, and their son-in-law Samuel Seago, as well as Samuel and Ellen's other children (also misrecorded as William Reeve's children) Rose Seago and Doris Seago. [I can't be absolutely sure, but by looking though the order of enumeration of the 1911 census in the general are of Glebe Terrace, and following it round on overlaid historic and current maps, I believe that Glebe Terrace is what is now even numbers 18-48 Fishtoft Road. The row also has the necessary 16 house, to match the 16 numbered addresses at Glebe Terrace on the 1911 census, and looking at streetview appears to have a terrace name in the brick work near the top of the end house (no 18), although that name is difficult to read and doesn't quite fit the expected shape of the words 'Glebe Terrace'. Glebe Terrace was enumerated completely consecutively, from 1 to 16, so I assume it ran consecutively, making 2 Grebe Terrace = 20 Fishtoft Road now.]. 1911 census (familysearch) or 1911 census (ancestry)
29th September 1939 Register - Francis W Seago (27 Sep 06), a married man whose occupation was left blank, was living at 20 Dene Side, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. He was living with Lily E Seago (9 Oct 07), a married woman whose occupation was recorded as unpaid domestic duties. They were also living with an individual whose details have not yet been unlocked. 1939 register (findmypast)
1965 to 1974 - F W Seago was listed in Norwich Area phone books at Boarding Res, 16 Queens Road, Great Yarmouth Exchange.
14th July 1973 - Francis William Seago's cremation register entry shows his residence was 16 Queens Road, Great Yarmouth and shows he was 66 and married.
