The following paragraph was written by Freda Mary Horsnell (nee Burn) about Kenneth and his mother Ellen (referred to in the paragraph as 'my aunt' since that was her relationship to Freda).
However at the age of forty-one my aunt did fall pregnant. upon examination at hospital they decided it wasn't a pregnancy but a growth in the womb, gave her injections in the womb and paralysed the baby. He was born an imbecile, Kenneth William Leslie Burn with a cleft palate, club feet, abnormally large head, amongst other things. My aunt miraculously raised him to the age of two. They worshipped him and were devastated when he died.

The witnesses were Ishiel Price and Olive Pickett. From the 1871 census I can see that Ishiel Price was the parish clerk (and would have been about 65 in 1875), and Olive Pickett was the pew opener (usher) of the church (and would have been about 78 in 1875), so it appears that for whatever reason the marriage took place without family and friends present and had to be witnessed by elderly officials within the church. marriage record (freeBMD) marriage certificate LMA (ancestry)

Possible Marriage in December Quarter 1939 in Great Yarmouth district, Norfolk, England. Possible marriage record (freeBMD) [I cannot be sure at this stage if this marriage record pertains to Sgt Arthur William Seago or to another man named Arthur W Seago, although at the time of the 1939 register there appears to have only been three Arthur W Seago's in the UK, with one already married, and one incapacitated in a hospital for epileptics, making Sergeant Arthur William Seago the most likely candidate. If he did contract this marriage then he left one child who went on to marry, and may or may not have had issue].
